Acne

Acne is the curse of a teenagers face.  For most people the problems they had as a teenager with zits will disappear as they get older, but that is not always the case.  There are large numbers of adults that suffer from acne, and this

can be very stressful to live with.

There are several reasons why an adult can get acne.  Adults can get acne from stress which is a huge problem in our society today.  Hormonal problems and medications can also effect the skin causing acne.

The cause of acne is  when the skin pore or a hair follicle becomes blocked.  This blockage is caused by the skin cells that are exfoliated, but not completely removed from the skin. The skin then blocks the pores which then forms a plug that traps the sebum.  This in turn leads to a build up of bacteria which results in the inflammation of the skin.

There are several fantastic products on the market that can help reduce the occurrence of acne in teenagers, and adults alike.  The most common treatment is the use of retinoids that are derived from vitamin A.

Re tin-A is the most popular of these applications, and is a prescription medication.  There are several “over the counter” products such as retinal that are also suitable for many people. These medications work by removing the stickiness in the cell that causes the discarded cells to remain trapped.  By allowing those cells to be freely exfoliated there is no buildup of sebum which allows for a decrease in the occurrence of bacterial buildup.

There are other products on the market that assist in clearing up blocked pores by infiltrating the sebaceous matter, and some of these products are used in better quality cleansers.

While you should not expect results overnight you can have healthier skin by using these cleansers on a regular basis.  After a few weeks you should see a decrease in acne.  Where by the use of these products should help you maintain a healthy and blemish free skin.

I Hate My Acne!

I woke up one morning with my daughter yelling “I hate my acne.”  At first I was not happy with the fact that I was awoken early on my day off, but there was something in the sound of her voice that made me take notice that this was one upset young lady.  Being the father I hope to be for her, I thought back on the days of my youth and realize that my parents never really did much for me, or my brothers.  Knowing what I know now, as a parent, I decided that it was time to do something.

When I walked into my daughter’s bedroom she was sitting there staring into her mirror with this look of anger, and that saddened me.  I believe that anger is not one emotion anyone should have when looking at the reflection of their face in a mirror.  I am not a psychologist, but I know that it can’t be emotionally healthy for a person to feel anger when seeing their own face in the mirror.  As I approached her I asked what was wrong and she stated in a much more quiet and tempered tone…”I hate my acne.”

We then decided that we would go check out what was available for her at Wal-Mart, and I even felt so bad for her that I let her drive the car, which was not something I often do!  As we drove to the store she told me that she was afraid that all of the acne on her face would turn into acne scars and that she would never be attractive and the whole drama eventually unfolded to her becoming an old-maid and never getting married.  The entire trip was very dramatic.

When we arrived at the store she told me that there was nothing on the shelves that was “quality.”  She said that they have inferior clothing and that their acne medicine was just as flimsy and poor quality, like their clothes.  I decided that we could either drive around all day or we could just go back home and order the best that we could find over the Internet, since I did not think a trip to the doctor was needed just yet.  After picking up a few groceries we headed home and I drove this time because she was in too much of a rush, as if the world was about to end if we did not find an acne cure right away.

When we got home we looked at many different types of junk on the market and then the doorbell rang and Ashley showed up at the door, which meant it was time for Dad to find something else to do for the rest of the morning.  It was fine with me although I still wanted Alex to be happy with the reflection she saw in the mirror.  Soon Alex came bouncing out of her room and I was able to complete my role of being a Dad.  I handed her my credit card and the next thing I know I had a few dollars less in the bank!  It was alright though because a few days later a package arrived in the mail and soon acne was no longer a problem in our home.

Being the ever-cheap and suspecting yet caring Dad, I was happy to not have to take advantage of the 90-day money back offer because soon the acne crisis was no longer thriving in our home.  Alex has moved on to more important things as her facial acne was no longer the disaster she was so upset about.  She never really thanked me, other than when she handed back my credit card, but it was worth  it because I am really happy to not see my Princess in tears and so upset about her skin.  I know she will not live at home forever and I was happy to be able to help, even if Ashley gets all of the credit!

I was asked by her to come down to where her class was meeting to take photographs, and I was thrilled to take pictures for her.  I have included one of the many pictures I took below that shows just how happy she was and how far from her thoughts her acne problem had become.  I am glad that Ashley came over and helped but I am even happier that Alex asked me to take some photographs on that special day of prom!

Hydrogen Peroxide and Acne Pimples

Sometimes I get a zit on my face that is so tender that it  hurts even when it is not being touched.  Sometimes I hear people say it is an ingrown hair or whatever, but I just call it a pimple.  You know what I mean because the pimple becomes sort of a beacon on your face that your friends joke about and acquaintances politely ignore.  You know what I mean because there it is for everyone to see when you are talking to them.  If you have to venture out in public…it is there for all the world to see and it embarrasses the hell out of you!  There is good news for you because you do not have to suffer for long.  I have used a technique to not only ease the pain but make it go away very quickly and it can all happen in less than a day… and cost you less than a buck!  In most cases it will be FREE because you already have what you need in your medicine cabinet.  What I speak of is the amazing acne clearing powers of Hydrogen Peroxide Antiseptic Solution.  Hydrogen Peroxide can relieve not only the pain of some star quality zits, but is can make the beacon of distraction fade harmlessly away in less than 24 hours.

The only thing you need to do is get some hydrogen peroxide and a small cotton ball or a tissue of some sort.  Take the hydrogen peroxide and soak the tissue and then take the cotton ball or tissue and hold it on the zit for about 15 seconds.  After that you are done and the tenderness goes away almost immediately and in some cases it may make the pimple more obvious but that too will soon fade.  Withing 24 hours the tenderness will be 100% gone and the eruption of redness will be gone also.

The best part is that you can try this and it is so cheap that you can trust what I am saying.  Go try it now as you more than likely have some in you home right now.  Just be careful not to get it in your eyes or let the solution drip on your eyebrows as it can bleach them out, which could be another issue or appearance.

Please be aware that we are suggesting you try this as an immediate relief of the painful swelling of a pimple or zit on your skin that is tender to the touch and yet has no head that can be squeezed and popped.  The kind we are talking about is the one that you play with and squeeze and yet nothing squirts on the mirror.  The kind of pimple I am discussing is the one that drives you nuts and you dig and pick until you develop a scab on it.  Then when you have a scab you get even more frustrated because it never comes to a head and pops.  What I am suggesting works great before you make it even uglier with a scab that forms on top of the swollen red, tender zit that embarrasses the hell out of you.

Check it out and see for yourself that what I say is true.  The stuff works and you can try it now.  After you get over the crisis of the monster zit, I further suggest that you start a more regimented program to keep future pimples in check, and stop them before they start.  After you see how great the hydrogen peroxide works on the renegade pimple of perfection…check out that there is a cure to keep the pimple farm on your face in check, from future outbreaks.

After you see how well hydrogen peroxide works on an inflamed pimple I suggest you further test my integrity and check out an acne medicine that works overtime so you will not have to deal with a massive pimple appearing on your face like a beacon again. Check out our favorite acne preventive medicine that is available without a prescription.  Check out what we not only believe in but what we trust as much as hydrogen peroxide to prevent zits and pimples.
