Soda Was a Habit of Obesity
I was overweight for many years and now that I am thinner I am looking back on the habits I need to breakl to help keep the weight off for the rest of my life. Looking back on my personal history I remember my father had worked for Pepsi Cola for over thirty seven years. He did this day in and day out while we lived near Long Island City, New York. I have many memories of him leaving for work or meeting him at the subway station on his way home. He was a fiercely loyal man to Pepsi, he would not even allow Coke products into our home. He was loyal in a time when companies were loyal to their employees through pensions and such.
One thing I took into adult life is my love for Pepsi. I would rather have a Pepsi on a hot day even more than water. I would drink it at dinner and I would drink it pretty much whenever. I enjoy it much more than even beer to the dismay of some of my friends.
This may seem elementary, but Pepsi is part of what made me fat. I was no longer running in the street of my youth playing tag. I am now forty five years old and to exercise I need to go to the gym. As my wife and I started our journey to a healthier lifestyle I decided that I needed to drink more water and cut back on all the soda, or pop, as they call it here in the Southern USA.
This may seem like a no brainer, heck I know it is a no brainer. Cut out the soda and drink more water. I have heard and read it many, many times. So have you! I did this and in ten days I lost over ten pounds. I no longer feel bloated and no longer do I feel as if a penny is not worth picking up because my belly is in the way. You need to even cut out the diet soda as this is not healthy either.
So, if you are serious about losing weight let me help you hear it one more time. Cut out the soda and drink more water. It will be the easiest ten pounds you ever lost. I will also suggest yo cut out the diet sodas also. Granted they are much better for you, but they are still not that great. The sodium content is not good and if you MUST have one, I suggest you only drink one daily.
Whatever your situation, I suggest you evaluate your life and start thinking about some of the things have have helped you become obese because those habits need to be addressed to help you stop the cycle. The habits I speak of could be as simple as salting your food before seasoning or way too much ketchup on your food. Only you know your habits and only you can break those habits.
If you want to lose weight…stop and evaluate and make some adjustments to get on the road to thinness.
Can I Use Hcg With Sensa?
What is meant by this is that HCG is great for getting the old fat burning process going, while Sensa helps to tame cravings and appetite. When approached from a viewpoint of both weight loss options, it is very simple to see why Sensa and HCG would work so well together. HCG is all about burning fat and Sensa is all about helping a person that is eating less, feel full faster. Overall there are no bad side effects that we predict that could result from using Sensa with HCG, as long as all of the requirements for nutrition are met.
What many people do not understand is that weight loss is not just about eating less. Weight loss is all about not only eating less, it is also about receiving the correct amount of nutrition that will facilitate healthy weight loss. Through burning fat while retaining as much muscle mass a possible, weight loss becomes much healthier. All too often people will starve themselves believing weight loss can be achieved simply by not eating. That theory of weight loss was not true 50 years ago, and it is not true today. By combining Sensa with HCG a person will have a better chance of getting through the early days of doing HCG.
The initial days of doing HCG are very difficult for many people that are used to a much higher calorie consumption. By implementing Sensa at the start of doing HCG, a person may benefit from the psychological and physiological benefit of using Sensa. Sensa is know, and marketed, for its ability to curb one’s appetite and cravings. With just one month of Sensa, combined with one month of HCG, it is not uncommon for some people to lose 30 pounds. Will this happen for everyone? We doubt it because the resolution of everyone is different and their determination is also different.
HCG may be one of the most effective weight loss plans on the market today, but it is also one of the most difficult because of the calorie restrictions. Those HCG calorie restrictions just might get easier when some Sensa is applied.
Quitting Smoking, Losing Weight and Addictions
Are you overweight? Do you smoke? Did you used to smoke and stopped? Chances are you may fit into one of the statements just presented. If you ever tried to quit smoking you knew it was a habit and you had to quit because it was unhealthy. If you are a smoker you know it is unhealthy to smoke, yet there you sit…overweight and with a cigarette in your hand or in the ashtray next to you.
In fact, if you are a smoker and you are overweight then you know deep down that your risk of death and illness are compounded even more-so. If you are trying to quit smoking and are overweight at the same time the process can, and does often seem overwhelming to the point where you end up accomplishing nothing. Did you ever think that being overweight is addictive is almost the same way smoking is emotionally addictive?
If you are overweight then you must wake up and accept the concept that over eating can also be an addictive habit. Becoming obese is not always a medical condition and all avenues of valid medical reasoning should be explored. When you have come to the conclusion that you are overweight because you eat too much of the wrong thing, then you may want to approach the problem like an addicted cigarette smoker would. Maybe you need to realize that your over eating is because you are addicted to food.
I too also have a weight problem and I too used to be a smoker. I can remember being told that nicotine is only a craving for a few days and then it is all mental and emotional. After the first few days you no longer crave smokes, but you are in a familiar situation and it is a comfort. Over eating is very similar.
After eating you want a smoke. While watching late night T.V. you want some ice cream. When you get in your car you want a smoke. When you get in your recliner you want some snacks. When you go to the bathroom you want a smoke, when you go to the store you want a candy bar.
I am overweight and I have admitted I am fat. I know I am an emotional eater. I eat out of habit and I did this all too often. I have come to the conclusion that being my being fat is a direct result of putting too much food my mouth. PERIOD!!
I have come to grips that I am an addicted eater. I like the junk food. I like to eat snacks while watching T.V. I eat out of comfort. An example is just the other day. My “diet” was going well and then when I heard my chronically troubled twenty year old son was again having problems, I wanted to stop and get a chocolate shake. I eat because of triggers that affect my emotions. We all know that cigarette addiction is very much the same thing. We find ourselves looking for a smoke and often do not even give the act a second thought. Ever have two cigarettes burning at the same time?
I have not learned to control this trigger yet. I have just learned to recognize that it even exists.
Do you have a trigger that sets you off? We have no real answer or solutions here, but we just wanted to introduce the comparison of being addicted to smoking, and being addicted to eating. The root causes may be very similar.
