It is really hard to explain to someone that has never been overweight just what Sensa has meant for me.  I watch all of the reality shows and I heard all of the sob stories of being overweight for so long and I heard echos of what my life has been like.  I sat in the mall and I watched the world go by and for years I had just been that silent “fat guy” sitting off by himself.  For someone that has never had to deal with being alone on the weekend and seeing all of the couples together…laughing and giggling, and then realizing that they were alone yet again…those are the people that never really understand what it is like to be overweight year in and year out.

To hear all the reports of what the health risks are for obese people, and then being helpless to make any lasting changes, is a feeling that no thin person has ever had to face while looking at the reflection of their naked body in the mirror.  The fat hanging from the arms.  The belly drooping over the waistline and the reality of not being able to see your toes over your stomach, is the reality of an obese person.  With all of that being said, the truth of the moment is that most obese people would do anything to make a permanent and lasting change to the reality they see in the mirror.

For a person that has no need to use Sensa there is no humility in the possibility that maybe something as far fetched as Sensa might be able to make a difference.  For the thin person to make a snap judgement about Sensa is about as hateful and ignorant as it is when a thin person makes jokes at the expense of the big guy in the room.  The end result of all the years of being treated like a person that has no feelings… it may just be true that the fat person is tired of all the jokes. 

Since I have been the fat guy, and since I have used Sensa to help me lose weight, and since I am now thin…I feel quite qualified to tell the thin, arrogant people that they just need to shut the heck up, if they have nothing good to say about me, or me using Sensa.  I have been listening to your jokes for way too long and now this is my time.  This is the time in my life where I feel as if I have the power to take charge of my weight and make a difference in my reality.

YES!  I was overweight and YES! I used Sensa and YES! I do believe in the ability of Sensa to help a person lose weight, because it helped me to lose weight.  What I will further state is that because of Sensa I have been able to start understanding the reasons why I became obese in the first place.  I now know that I had issues external to me that helped me nudge me deeper into obesity.  Because of Sensa I have been able to start to understand that my portion control was out of control.  Heck! I did not even understand what a portion really was supposed to be!  I ate till I was full and how much I ate made no matter to me until I was 297.6 pounds.

When I was almost 300 pounds I knew I had to do something and if I didn’t I know I was well on my way to an early grave.  All the thin people may scoff at me for using Sensa but what does that really matter to me?  I was alone and an outcast when I was fat ,and now that I am obtaining thinness, I still feel resigned to being that fat kid in the corner.  Today I find myself wanting to help others that are struggling with their weight to tell them that they do not have to be overweight.  I am here today to tell you that losing weight no longer has to be the process that lasts a lifetime.
