Is Sensa Safe?
Is Sensa Safe? This is a question that many people have asked and what we have done is gather as much information as we could think of, to help you decide for yourself just how safe Sensa will be. One of the first things we noticed about Sensa is that many were asking if it were safe to use if you were pregnant and if it was safe to use for children? Some have asked what medical conditions could a person develop if they used Sensa? Could a woman breastfeed on Sensa? Could a diabetic use Sensa? Is a person with high blood pressure going to have any problems? With all of these questions swirling around the Internet we must start off this article with the disclaimer that if you have some serious concerns with being able to use Sensa, in the conditions that exist in your life, you should really start off with consulting your physician.
Is Sensa Safe for children?
All of the data used to test Sensa and ensure that it was safe to use were tested for adults, so there really is no data available for children. Since there is no test data for children it is not recommended that Sensa be considered safe for children to use.
As we drill down deeper into Sensa we decided that we needed to look into what were the ingredients behind the product. SENSA contains Maltodextri, which is derived from corn from the USA, Tricalcium Phosphate, Silica, Natural and Artificial Flavors. SENSA also contains Soy and Milk ingredients. SENSA is sodium- free, sugar-free, calorie free, gluten-free, and there are no stimulants, drugs or MSG. Overall from the overview, there is nothing in Sensa that anyone should consider dangerous.
Looking to the government to see if Sensa was considered unsafe we checked in with the FDA and were surprised to learn that the FDA did not even have to review any of the data from Sensa. This is where we learned that Sensa was listed as GRAS, which means Generally Recognized As Safe. We went to the fda.gov website and learned that because all of the substances that are in Sensa are safe, that is what ultimately makes Sensa safe to use, in the eyes of the FDA. The end result is that Sensa has received a certification of sorts by the FDA because they did not need to review it as they know it is safe, by virtue of all of its ingredients being safe.
So with the question of whether or not Sensa is safe to use still lurking, let us tell you first hand from our own thoughts that we have had no issues with using Sensa. We have not had headaches or any other issue with the stuff. What we do understand is that the FDA classified it as GRAS and that alone really makes us feel good about the product. Since the FDA gave it a GRAS rating we feel pretty good about the stuff being pretty safe.
